With the Trango XC2 being the top of the UP product lineup at the moment we have a dedicated XC wing which is appreciated by very many XC hounds around the world these days.
What is perhaps a little more surprising is that the same wing is being used by a number of competition pilots as well, and they're getting value for money on it by repeatedly getting podium places wherever they turn up.
In recent weeks our favourite Daria Krasnova (RUS) has been to Turkey to fly a pre-PWC there, and she walked away with the top girls trophy as usual. She even made a very respectable 12th Overall, right in front of a well-known international competitor on a Boom 9 ;-)
After Turkey Daria has travelled to Krusevo in Macedonia, and she's there flying the Russian/Ukrainian Open as you read this. At last count she was leading the girls ranking there as well, and also placed very respectably in the Overall ranking.
In South Africa we have the intrepid couple of Cloudbasers, Khobi-Jane and Jan. They run one of the only truly professional flying schools in Africa and are both keen competitors, and after switching to Trango's recently their results have also started turning heads. In the recent SA Nationals in Barberton (yes, the Sudafries get to fly comps in the middle of winter too, the spoilt brats!) Khobi won the Female Ranking while Jan won the Sports Class. Well done to both of you, and no awkward moments while someone else kisses you wife on the podium this time - Jan was there to do the kissing himself :-)
