In between finishing the Trango XC3 for certification, the guys managed to spend a few days flying this exciting new wing, and they even had the opportunity to meet with a leg of the Spanish Nationals and fly with a bunch of guys on other comp wings.
Before the guys left for Tenerife, Mads S was hoping they'd lend him this particular wing for his trip to South Africa - OK so he wouldn't be able to score on it in the Porterville comp, but at least he'd be back flying the wings he loves, and he was very excited about that. As it turned out the R&D guys (Franta, Michal, Jirka) thought the wing was so good that they wanted to get straight to work readying it for certification, so Mads didn't get it... No Christmas for Madsie this year then... But for all the rest of you performance hounds out there, this is awesome news indeed - so it won't be ready for the Worlds, and that is a big shame, but at least it will, in all likelihood, be ready for the European 2015 season, and the comp hounds at UP haven't been so excited since the Edge XR came out!
Here's another mugshot of it - for the rest, like specs etc., you'll just have to wait like the rest of us - try not to sulk as much as we do though ;-)
