Seit über 20 Jahren reisen Piloten in die trockenen nordöstlichen Teile Brasiliens um Rekorde und persönliche Bestzeiten zu erfliegen. Berühmte Startgelände wie Quixadá im Bundesstaat Ceará und zuletzt Tacima im benachbarten Paraiba (Ort des aktuellen Weltrekords) standen bisher im Vordergrund. Unsere Teampiloten Adi Seitz und Peter Hilger zeigen uns, dass es noch viele weitere Optionen für kilometerhungrige Piloten gibt!

The UP XC-Fever is our own Online version of the worldwide XContest. The prizes this season were worth vying for, with a free UP glider of the winners' own choice in both classes! The winners were named on Oct. 31st. after a full year's flying cross country on UP wings, a fun endeavour in itself but very very rewarding when one can take such a trophy home.

For upwards of 20 years pilots have been travelling to the arid Northeastern parts of Brazil to try and fly records and personal bests. Traditionally the focus has been on famous launches like Quixadá in the state of Ceará, and more recently Tacima in neighbouring Paraiba state (site of the recent World Record), but when UP Team Pilots Adi Seitz and Peter Hilger went to Brazil they set out to show the world that there are many more options for km-hungry pilots out there!
