Der neue Ascent 4, der Spaß-Garant…
Unser Konstruktions- und Entwicklungs-Team hat lange und fleißig daran gearbeitet. Jetzt ist es endlich soweit, der neue UP LTF / EN A Gleitschirm ist voll ausgereift und steht in den Startlöchern.
Verbesserte Starteigenschaften und ein angenehmes, ehrliches Handling in der Luft sorgen für Komfort, Selbstvertrauen und dadurch jede Menge Spaß.
Das verbesserte Leinenkonzept kommt dem Piloten bereits beim Sortieren am Startplatz entgegen und verringert ebenfalls den Luftwiderstand.
Durch die Verwendung hochqualitativer Materialien erreicht der neue Ascent 4 ein um 500 Gramm reduziertes Gesamtgewicht bei gleicher Haltbarkeit wie sein Vorgänger.
Der Schirm ist in fünf verschiedenen Größen (von 50 – 130 kg) erhältlich. Dies ermöglicht den Schirm im optimalen Gewichtsbereich zu fliegen.
Dank eurem positiven Feedback nach den ersten Testflügen sind wir uns sicher, den Besten Ascent aller Zeiten entwickelt zu haben. Entstanden ist ein ausgewogener Schirm, der vor allem durch sein angenehmes Handling, stabiles Thermikflugverhalten und hoher passiver Sicherheit überzeugt.

The new Ascent 4; the fun factor......
Our design and development team have been hard at work designing and constructing a new LTF / EN A glider that is easy to handle on the ground and in the air, durable, confidence inspiring and fun to fly. The Ascent 4 was designed from the ground up to make a pilots progression as stress free and fun as possible. An optimized line cascade allows for an easier preflight check, and less drag. Labels on the risers allow new pilots to easily find what they are looking for.

The Ascent 4 is available in five sizes (from 50-130 kg) allowing a broad range of pilots to find the perfect size. Inflation and launch behavior is easy, predictable, and confidence inspiring. The Ascent 4 is 500 grams lighter then its predecessor. A lighter glider means less inertia, providing for easier inflations, pitch control, and landings. This is not just a school wing, it is a wing that experienced pilots, who value high passive safety, will enjoy flying and progressing with. Last day in Kathmandu! At 5 o'clock in the morning I go to the sunrise at the Monkey Temple.
Very spiritual encounter with Hindus and Buddhists - and lots of monkeys ...
... Now to travel back home - but I'll be back soon. Nepal is wonderful !!!

Letzter Tag in Kathmandu! Um 5 Uhr morgens gehe ich zum Sonnenaufgang am monkey Tempel.
Sehr spirituelle Begegnung mit Hinduisten und Buddhisten- und jede Menge Affen...
...jetzt aber zurück in die Heimat - aber ich komme bald wieder. Nepal ist wunderbar!!!

You can not describe Kathmandu, you have to experience that!
Go shopping and take a look at the various religious temples at the village square.
Late in the afternoon I'm going to visit the biggest stuppa in the world.!

Kathmandu kann man nicht beschreiben, das muss man erlebt haben!
Gehe shoppen und schaue mir am Dörben Square die verschiedenen religiösen Tempel an.
Spät am Nachmittag geht's zur grössten Stupa der Welt!

Leave Fewa lake in Pokhara in the morning and board the tourist bus to Kathmandu.
The ride usually takes 8h ... today there is a traffic jam before Kathmandu, so it takes 10h! ...I am staying in a hotel in the heart of Kathmandu city. ... delivered laundry, shower gel and shoe brush bought ....

Verlasse den Lake Lewa in Pokhara am Morgen und steige in den Tourist Bus nach Kathmandu.
Die Fahrt dauert normalerweise 8h...heute Stau vor Kathmandu, so dass es 10h dauert!...bin Grad von der Stadt eingesaugt worden. ...Grad wieder zurück ins Hotel. ...Wäsche abgegeben, Duschgel und schuhbürste gekauft....

Now it's evening, I'm back here by the lake (Fewa Lake, Pokhara). I showed my fancy water filter to my Nepalese friends, and we filtered seawater and drank it :-)
Now with the rowboat brought a pizza and drunk for safety still a gin ...
Tomorrow I have to look for a good bus connection to Kathmandu. There are lots of interesting things to look at there.

Jetzt ist es abend, ich bin wieder hier am See (Lake Lewa, Pokhara). Habe den nepalesischen Freunden meinen Wasserfilter gezeigt, wir haben Seewasser gefiltert und getrunken:-)
Jetzt mit dem Ruderboot eine Pizza geholt und zur Sicherheit noch einen Gin getrunken...
Morgen muß ich mir eine gute Busverbindung nach Kathmandu suchen. Dort gibt es auch noch was anzuschauen.

Habe mein Quartier verlassen, obwohl es hier sehr schön ist und es alles gibt, was man braucht. Auf der Strasse hat mich sogar jemand erkannt und gesagt, dass er meinen Blog die ganze Zeit verfolgt hat!
Aber ich wollte noch einmal in die Berge, bin Richtung Annapurna geflogen und habe noch einmal Lagerfeuer gemacht und mir Nudeln gekocht!

Habe mich mit Bassanta in Pokhara getroffen. Leider konnte er auch nicht helfen, eine Fluggenehmigung von Pokhara nach Kathmandu zu bekommen. Militärflughäfen, Helikopter, Bergrettung... da ist nichts zu machen. Ich werde am 8.11. mit dem Bus nach Kathmandu fahren.
